Hospitality Information for 100 Days Campaign
(Click here for April 30 logistics.)
We are pleased to be able to provide housing for groups and individuals coming to Washington, DC for the 100 Days campaign. We have various types of accommodations depending on group size. Please contact us at least two weeks prior to coming to let us know how many people need beds and if there are any special needs. Matt Vogel at matthew.vogel@yahoo.com.
Simple meals will be provided. Our basic menu consists of toast, cereal, coffee and tea for breakfast, sandwiches or soup for lunch, and pasta or rice dishes for dinner. We are working hard to provide fruits and vegetables. If there are dietary needs or if you want to supplement this menu, we are asking that groups bring extra food with them. We will have refrigerator space available.
Please remember to bring sufficient winter clothing; we will be vigiling outdoors daily. There is no need to bring sheets, but please do bring a sleeping bag, pillow and a towel.
We ask that the groups provide their own transportation to the various events. The Japanese Buddhist Temple is located near public transportation and we will have maps and directions available for driving.
When you arrive in DC, depending on the time of day, we will meet you at the Japanese Buddhist Temple (4900 16th St.NW, Washington, DC 20011). We can then discuss parking, maps, schedules, etc. If you have questions before you arrive, please email Amanda Daloisio at Amanda_daloisio@yahoo.com.
